ESA has a number of coaches working for us, meet a few of them

Diane Cobb
I found out about ESA through a friend of mine at my gymnastics club. I've been participating and competing in gymnastics since the age of seven, so coaching came naturally to me. I began by doing one year's voluntary coaching at my local club and where I became a qualified gym coach. Since then I have been coaching with either assistants or alone, in a variety of places for about 3½ years.

John Milton
I heard about ESA through a friend of mine who is an ESA coach. About three years ago I was asked by ESA to coach football at a local primary school, which I found enjoyable and rewarding. I have worked for ESA ever since. I also coach basketball, tennis, cricket, athletics and squash. I have been coaching for over thirteen years in youth clubs, community programmes and local leagues.

I've worked with a people of a variety of ages and abilities as well as those with visual and hearing impairment and mild learning difficulties.

Coaching is a rewarding experience as no two sessions are the same, each student brings different qualities and attributes with them. My aim is to create an environment where students can express themselves with no inhibitions, to improve their performance in their chosen sport and most importantly to have fun and stimulation in both a mental and physical capacity.

Claire Morgan
I've been an athletic coach for over 20 years. In this time I have coached both indoor and outdoor AAA's senior decathlon champions and other junior internationals. I have been coaching in schools during this time as well. I also coach netball, tennis and do some personal training. Working for ESA has helped me to continue to groom the sports stars of the future.

Steven Morrison
I've worked for a couple of London borough sports development teams over a number of years. I coach a number of sports, which include football, basketball, short-tennis, hockey, athletics and touch rugby. During this time I've had the opportunity to teach a number people with different abilities, backgrounds and ages.

Mary Wilmore
I've led dance workshops in primary schools, teaching dance and helping children and adults to create movement, using music and movement improvisation. I've also worked with a dance company for adults with learning difficulties, teaching them movement and expression through that movement. I've also led rehearsals for a range of productions.
